   Perjuangan kratos dimulai saat dia turun dari gunung olympus ke bumi untuk membantu tentara spartan yang kualahan berperang. Setelah turun ke bumi kratos kehilangan separuh kekuatannya gara-gara elang dewa zeus mengambil kekuatan kratos lalu memberikannya kepada patung raksasa collosus (mirip hercules). Setelah patung itu menerima kekuatan setengah dewa dari kratos, patung itu hidup dan ingin membunuh kratos yang kembali menjadi kecil seperti manusia biasa, tetapi kratos masih setengah dewa. Lalu kratos kualahan menghadapi collosus dan akhirnya zeus memberikan pedang olympus pada kratos. Untuk mencabut pedang olympus, kratos harus memberikan semua kekuatan dewanya. Setelah kratos berhasil mencabut pedang olympus, kratos melubangi tubuh patung raksasa itu dan masuk untuk menghancurkan collosur dari dalam. Setelah mengalahkan collosus, kratos yang sedang lengah tertimpa collosus yang sudah sekarat. Kratospun kehilangan baju perangnya dan pedang olympus terlempar. Setelah itu zeus mengambil pedang olympus dan membunuh kratos yang sedang sekarat. Setelah mati, kratos berada dialam neraka tempat dewa hades. Lalu kratos bertemu para titan (raksasa yang lebih besar dari para dewa) yang kalah dari para dewa dan luka kratos yang tertusuk pedang olympus disembuhkan oleh titan gaia. Lalu kratos keluar dari neraka dan pergi ketempat syster of the fates untuk memutar waktu kemasa lalu untuk merubah nasib kratos dan para titan.

Mulai saat itu Kratos berniat balas dendam kepada Zeus. Setelah Sampai di syster of the fates, Kratos harus melawan seorang monster ( sorry, gue g tahu namanya). Dia adalah seorang penjaga syster of the fates, setelah Kratos dapat mengalahkannya dia harus masuk kedalam cermin untuk memutar kembali waktu. Disinilah bagian yang paling saya sukai, Kratos bertarung dengan Zeus. Setelah Zeus hampir kalah Athena yang merupakan Istri Kratos sekaligus putri Zeus menghalangi Kratos untuk membunuh Zeus. Dan sampai akhirnya athena yang mati.

Kratos tidak berhenti berusaha, dia kembali memutar waktu. Dia bermaksud balas dendam lain waktu dengan pasukan yang banyak pula.
